“We project a 70% reduction in the water we collect—and that water becomes a waste product. This approach should save us about a million gallons a year.”

Cleaning & Maintenance
Cleaning and maintain your drain system plays an important part role in protecting its lifespan. Regular cleaning helps prevent build up that can restrict flow, cause blockages, and lead to unnecessary wear over time.
With U-drain, cleaning takes significantly less time and effort than traditional grated drains because there are no heavy grates to remove. The single-slot opening provides access for the cleaning paddle to push debris to the sump, while the flush nozzle attaches to a water source to flush the channel.

U-drain Cleaning Kit
Comes with our standard Cleaning Paddle with steel hanger and flashlight.

Cleaning Paddle
Insert into the slot opening of your drain system, twist 90° and push any debris from the drain channel into the sump. Common methods to remove sediment from the sump can involve using a shovel or shop vac.

Flush Nozzle
Attached to the end cap of your system, which will connect to a water source to flush the channel of the system, pushing debris into the sump for easy removal.
