How is U-drain Installed?
U-drain is constructed from galvanized steel for long-lasting durability and corrosion resistance. With a standard zinc thickness of 3.9 mils, it’s rated to last up to 73 years before showing even 5% rust (see White Paper for details).

EASY TO MAINTAIN
U-drain's grate-free, clean-in-place design is ideal for food processing, breweries, wineries, and pharmaceutical facilities. Simply use the cleaning paddle to move solids to the sump, activate the flush nozzle, then insert the rubber drain stop to fill the system with sanitizing solution.
SANITARY DRAINAGE
U-drain’s single slot intake minimizes bacteria buildup and stays clean for longer than traditional grated drains. Unlike conventional drains with multiple components where bacteria and food particles can be trapped, U-drain's design reduces bacteria, food particles and moisture that can accumulate.
